Inside My Floral Mood Boards: Where I Find Inspiration
People always ask me, “Where do your ideas come from?” And honestly, inspiration is everywhere — you just have to know how to catch it. Here’s a peek inside my brain (and my mood boards) when it comes to florals:
1. Nature Walks
There’s nothing like a quiet walk to get the creativity flowing. I find color palettes in sunsets, leaf textures, and yes, even the weeds growing through sidewalk cracks.
2. Childhood Memories
I’ve been a flower girl (literally) since I was little. My mom says I used to pick flowers from neighbors’ yards on our walks. Oops. That instinct to gather and arrange never really left.
3. Pinterest + Personal Style
My Pinterest boards are a beautiful mess of bouquets, color combos, wedding tables, and dreamy landscapes. But I also blend in pieces of my personal aesthetic — what I’d wear, what I’d hang on my wall, what makes me feel something.
4. Fashion & Home Decor
Runway looks, Anthropologie windows, coffee table books — I pull ideas from all over. If a pattern, color, or texture catches my eye, I file it away for the next floral install.
5. Vibes Over Rules
I love letting florals feel free. A little wild, a little romantic, and always intentional. I don't always go by the book — I go by the feeling. And when it feels right, it looks right.
Florals are more than pretty petals. They’re atmosphere. They’re emotion. They’re a love language all their own — and I’m so lucky I get to speak it.
